As solopreneurs we often try not to think about the moments where we will have no clients, no projects, and nothing to do. It can feel like real failure to not be busy and an even bigger taboo to talk about it in public. But the reality is that there will be downtime — not even flowers are in bloom all year round!
I am a big fan of a side project or challenge to get the creative juices flowing, but amongst all of the productivity ideas, I had to share my most important use of downtime in the business…and that’s rest.
The thing I do that has the most impact on my creativity during slow periods is rest.
